Conan Finally Follows Someone On Twitter: A Random Woman Who Likes Peanut Butter.

Within a couple weeks, he has already amassed a huge following of over a half million people — especially impressive in the post-suggested user list era. Despite a half million people following him, he was [...]

Foodspotting Is A Location-Based Game That Will Make Your Mouth Water

The idea was a way to show people the best food in Japan beyond sushi — to literally show them, in picture form. Then the thought morphed into writing to a book, where the best food in the world was shown. But that’s a lot of travel for one person. So the thought became, why [...]

Twitter To Add “Nifty” Site Features That May Make You Forget Third-Party Clients

Twitter appears to be on the verge of some big changes to its website if a tweet that Twitter engineer Alex Payne sent today is any indication. In fact, the new features may be so good that they could make some people re-examine their use of desktop Twitter clients, apparently. As Payne writes:

FriendFeed Goes Down Hard. Both Remaining Users Pissed.

FriendFeed is down right now. It has been down for the past 30 minutes or so. Sadly, that’s not news anymore. Not because, like Twitter of old, it’s down all the time, but rather, because it seems like no one really uses it anymore. Case in point, it’s been down for over 30 minutes and [...]

Seesmic Web Perfects The Management Of Twitter Followers

Do you follow more than 100 people on Twitter? If so, have you ever tried to manage them on Twitter.com? It’s awful. Really awful. They make you go through page after page of names in no real order (other than how recently you added them). If you want to remove some people you followed years [...]

I Pissed Off A PR Spammer Today

It’s no secret that we consider the PR industry, for the most part, the bane of our existence. They’re just under too much pressure to get results, and when we don’t do what they want (write about their clients), things turn ugly. And before things turn ugly, we get spammed. By phone, by Twitter, by [...]
